My second Skywalker build - Version 3
I started my first Skywalker build just a little over a year ago now, and in the process I bought a backup Skywalker kit. It was a good thing that I did, because I ended up losing my first Skywalker last fall due to video failure. It was almost a mile away when the video signal completely cut out without warning and without any "Return to Home" system on board my plane was lost. It was tough to lose my first FPV plane that I had put so much time and money into, but you live and learn!
I had been storing a second frame as a backup to my first for a while, and after getting over the loss of the first Skywalker I decided to start a new build. I really like the Skywalker frame and was excited to build it again, this time with some new and improved electronics!
The kit itself is actually the version 3 of the Skywalker, one version older than the V4 I had last time. The cockpit foam is a bit different and I believe the tail boom is just a little thinner.
